Sink or Swim... Here we go!

Titanic the musical has finally opened and what an opening night it was! The crowd thoroughly enjoyed the show concluding with a standing ovation! :) Last night was a bit rough since we were all very tired from running the complete show all week long. Can't wait to have 3 nights off after today. It will be very much needed. It feels so good to get back onstage with the lights shining down, knowing you are connecting to the audiance on an emotional level. So far I have had several friends come see the show including: Chad and Carrie on opening night, The Williams family, Taryn and Bonnie, Natalie and her mom on Friday night, and Rodjahnae (a student) and her family. So far they have all loved the show.

After the shows we have gone to several wonderful dining establishments for refreshments. Thursday night we went to Steak N Shake, Friday we went to Buffalo Wild Wings, and last night we went to TGIFriday's. I have a Pink Punk Cosmo which was delicious! It is served over pink cotton candy. Yumm....

One more show this weekend at 2:30, then home to relax before beginning a work week. Only a few more weeks to go and it will be summer break! Hallelujah!
